Planning a Wedding or other large celebration?

The Hall is a much appreciated for a wedding venue and other large celebration events.

Please do look at the many pictures in our wedding gallery to see the imaginative adaptations possible in the main hall to give a unique experience for any celebrations and particularly for weddings.

We have the facilities and space within the hall and in the car park to accommodate large numbers.

Our kitchen is equipped to professional standards and the caterers that have used it say so.

The room adjacent to the main hall converts easily into a bar.

We are fully licensed with premises and music licences.

Since opening we have had several large wedding celebrations every year.

You do have to arrange your own professionals or family and friends for catering and running a bar. It is possible to hire exclusive use of the building for any celebrations.

Ask our bookings clerk for availability and a cost estimate.

The hall has again received the highest possible grading of 3 stars under the national “Hallmark” assessment scheme and the latest report opens with :-

This very busy hall, built in 2005, has an enviable position at the northern end of the village with stunning views across the Mendips to the river Severn and the Welsh hills. It is not surprising that it is the chosen venue for many weddings, not just for local folk but also for those living further afield and from Bristol. It is well signposted in the village.
